Fellow to the Institution of Civil Engineers (UK), Bachelor of Honours Degree First Class (Civil Engineering), HNC and ONC Civil Engineering, AICD Company Director’s Qualification, IAMA Dispute Avoidance and Resolution, IAMA Mediation, Arbitration and Advanced Arbitration

Peter has over 35 years’ experience in the delivery of large scale, complex infrastructure projects across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, across diverse sectors including transportation, energy, resources and nuclear.

Peter served as Alliance Director for the Sizewell C Civil Works Alliance, overseeing a £15B scope of works as well as transitioning the 400-strong team to mobilise to site. Previously, he established BMD’s Empower business in the UK, securing projects at nuclear sites like Devonport, Sellafield, and Hinkley Point C.

Peter has extensive experience in senior roles, managing regional businesses with annual turnovers exceeding $1 billion and has a passion for collaborative contracting and alliance partnering.

His contributions to the industry also include founding initiatives like Constructionarium Australia and BMD’s Fortitude program to train aspiring managers, alongside volunteer leadership roles and active participation in industry panels and discussions.

Peter is part of the Expert Panel for Nuclear for Australia and a regular contributor to panel sessions with the Australian British Chamber of Commerce.
